While there is a decent flavor to this, it’s hard to tell because it’s over powered by the heat level. Still good if you love spicy foods, haven’t found anything it doesn’t pair well with. Haven’t shit the bed yet which I feel is more a bonus than false advertising.

This is a pretty good hot sauce. It definitely has heat but isn’t something that will kill most people that like hot sauce. The more you eat, the hotter it gets. The bottle is pretty large so you should get a lot of servings out of it. The hot sauce is slightly sweet and has a lot more flavor than just heat. Therefore, it may not work for all dishes because you might not want the sweet, fruity flavor on some things. Be careful ordering this on Amazon if you intend to give it as a gift. Amazon shipped it in a flimsy plastic envelope so the box inside arrived completely smashed. There were also some free samples in little tubs that were smashed open and unusable. I’m lucky that the bottle wasn’t broken.

Let’s be honest here, I bought this simply for the name of it, and I have zero regrets. I don’t actually like it that much, but I’m still going to give it 5 stars. Why? Because it makes no pretenses about what it is: it’s hot hot sauce. Plus any company who names a product like this deserves a pat on the back.First, how’s the heat? Oh it’s there. It kinda creeps up on you at first. It starts out very flavorful, somewhat citrusy, and then the steamroller just keeps coming. It gets hotter and hotter and hotter until you’re regretting your purchasing decisions.It’s not the hottest thing I’ve ever had, I suppose they had to save some magic for the black label bottle. To give it some perspective, if you’ve ever had the blazin sauce at that very large chicken wing restaurant, it’s close to that in flavor and in intensity, but maybe a few notches below it.It has a strong habanero flavor to me, with the tongue numbing effect of the ghost pepper, and it has staying power. It just keeps coming back to bite you, over and over again. I didn’t much care for the aftertaste, it was kinda bitter, but to me that’s probably just because all hot sauces in this realm are like that, so it’s not much of a take away from this product, this one maybe just has it the strongest of the ones I’ve tried.For my day to day, I’m much more of a chipotle (smoked jalapeno) person, which is definitely cooler and has a very different taste. But this one qualifies as a contender for those days you want to “burn your face off” and have some good endorphins going. For the hot sauce lover this is a great addition to your arsenal, or as a gift.
