The Mango Habanero flavor in this set is delightfully fruity – some hot sauces just use pineapple and similar juices as a sweetener, but in this case the flavors of the fruits come through beautifully. This sauce will be an excellent glaze on lighter meats, and I could see using it as a hot/sweet dipping sauce.I really, really wish that all three sauces had the hotness meter that’s on the Ghost Pepper sauce. The Pineapple Mango Habanero sauce is about as hot as I would use (except maybe as a few drops in a bowl of chili). The others are a bit scary.

Versus Tabasco these are in order from mild to hottest, slightly more mild then tabasco, about the same as tabasco (perhaps a bit hotter) and much hotter then tabasco.The last one is not for the tame of heart, but if you really like and eat of lot of pepper sauce, then the flavor is that of hot peppers, and the pepper flavor really comes through. (for those that aren’t used to the heat then they will not be able to enjoy the hottest pepper sauce…all they will taste is that glass of water to help them get it down).The mango pineapple has a good flavor, but isn’t my favorite, the flavor is somewhat weaker then I expected (after having eaten many very strong flavored hot sauces). It is still good though. It is the lightest clearest of the three.The ghost pepper sauce has good flavor, and the ghost pepper flavor does come through nicely.The “regret” sauce is the real winner for me, the peppery flavor really stands out but watch out for that heat.The kit also includes a sticker and is a great gift set.

This was presented with a sleeve that says “You are 1 HOT Dad” over more generic plain brown packaging.I am a big fan of the Elijah’s Xtreme line of hot sauces, and this set contains my two favorite flavors (Habanero pineapple-mango fruity sweet & Xtreme Regret). The mild sauce has a vinegar fruity sweet flavor that reminds me of one of my favorite dishes from my local Thai restaurant. The Ghost pepper sauce has a good yet generic flavor with a nice level of heat. The Xtreme Regret packs the maximum amount of heat that would not overpower the other flavors of the sauce, and it does has a good flavor.Not for Dads who do not have a decent heat threshold, but a great gift for Dads who enjoy quality hot sauces. 👍

Gave this to my boyfriend for Fathers Day and he loved it! I love that this sampler box comes with FULL BOTTLES!!! Not just small travel sizes like you would expect in a box with so much variety. My boyfriend and his brother are always competing in who can handle the most heat and this will definitely come in handy at the next family dinner! 🌶🔥

I’ve always loved hot sauces and these have blown me away!Here’s my list to simplify everything down!Positives:- Great Packaging:Truly blew me away!- Pineapple-Mango Hot Sauce:This is more sweet than spicy and it’s incredibly tasty. Truly taste like pineapple and mango mix.- Ghost Pepper Sauce:Tastes like most other ghost pepper sauces but gives a gradual kick after tasting. Great for wings and gyros.- Carolina Reaper Xtreme Heat:This hot sauce kicks you right in the face and is more scary than enjoyable. Great to have in the hot sauce arsenal but not practical for all occasions uses.Negatives:- None!Final Thoughts?I love all these sauces but my favorite is the ghost pepper one as it’s spicy and an all rounder sauce!

We recently had the opportunity to try the Elijah’s Xtreme Regret hot sauce so my husband was thrilled to get to try a few others from this set!You get three difference hot sauces – Habanero Pineapple Mango, Ghost Pepper, and the insanely hot Xtreme Regret.I am NOT a spicy food person. Black pepper can seem spicy to me. My husband is the spicy food guy and his friends all love spicy food, too. They all get a kick out of experimenting with extra hot peppers and sauces so I knew this would be right up their alley. Needless to say, they loved it!~Xtreme Regret – “This sauce is hot” is the understatement of the century! This hot sauce sends your mouth into an insane inferno of fire is more like it! HOLY MOLY!!!! For me, one teeny tiny speck on my tongue was enough to make my eyes tear up and my mouth burn! It literally felt like it was set ablaze! I didn’t feel like such a weenie when my husband and his friends tried it and were equally affected by it. THIS IS SOME INSANELY HOT SAUCE!!!!!When diluting with something else like chili, taco meat, or salsa, it is still incredibly hot but the fieriness is watered down just a tad. Believe me, it is still scorching hot!! My husband put a tiny bit into a big pot of chili and it still had him sweating. It is actually quite amusing to watch because him and his friends can eat some of the hottest peppers whole like they are nothing!!~Ghost Pepper – This isn’t quite as hot as the Xtreme Regret but it still packs a fiery punch. It has a strong flavor and is good on chicken and beef.~Habanero Mango Pineapple – SUPER YUM! If you aren’t a fan of mouth scorchers, this one is a nice alternative. This has the perfect, delicious balance between sweet and spicy. It pairs well with so many different things – chicken, beef, salsa, nachos, you name it! This one was tolerable to me. Still very spicy but the sweetness helps!

This trio of hot sauce bottles is a great gift for a hot sauce lover. The Xtreme regret is no joke. The tiniest taste of this Carolina reaper hot sauce will make you eyes water. This may be one we can be proud to have survived trying but may not eat as a regular addition to our food. The ghost pepper sauce is also a scorcher but not quite as extreme as the Xtreme regret. This is a sauce that we will use more regularly to enhance the flavor of our food. I have found the Habanero pineapple mango hot sauce to be my favorite. I have used this as a condiment, and also as part of a marinade. The marinade made with this hot sauce, soy sauce, olive oil and salt/pepper is amazing. I have made this marinade with regular hot sauce for years but this is my new go to. It adds a new level of flavor that is enjoyed by my whole family. These sauces were packaged securely with dividers in the box to prevent damage. All bottles were sealed tightly and the product is fresh. Our bottles arrived 6/6/2022 and are all best by 9/2024.
