I love this stuff. I should be able to keep this in the pantry for about six or seven months before I have to get more… ok well it probably won’t make six months but better than hitting Walmart and rolling the dice to see if they have any.

I’m a cholula, chipotle fan, but this size was ordered to last longer than the small bottles I get at my local grocery store. Lesson learned – order this size for a party or risk an early expiration date.

This is a review for the Chipotle flavor. The chipotle version isn’t as hot as the other flavors, so I tend to use more of it. As a result I was going through the tiny bottle (well tiny in comparison this big boy) at the rate of one or more a week. This was getting a bit too expensive a habit, but I am addicted to that wonderful smokey heat of smoked and dried jalapenos. Being able to buy it by the half gallon at less than 1/2 the price per ounce has enabled me to maintain my addiction without having to sell all of my possession to support it.BTW, I use a glass vinaigrette cruet with a stopper that holds about 6 ounces. The pouring flange of the cruet allows me to refill it by just pouring it directly from the big bottle. I did get a pump (which is sold separately) because I thought I would need to use it to get make sure this fiery nectar went in the cruet rather than all over the counter. Turns out that as long as you aren’t trying to refill bottle with tiny opening (like refilling the little Cholula bottles) you probably don’t need the pump. Of course you could just store this big jug on the door of your refrigerator with the pump, and just pump some directly on your food without having to bother getting it out of the fridge.

This is the best chipotle sauce out there, much better than the tabasco version in my opinion. You may think it’s too much of a bottle but the price is much better than the table-sized bottles. I’ve actually gone through about half of this in a month or so! I just pour it into a salad dressing carafe and it works great. If used in moderation, it’s not super hot and it adds a smoky complexity that compliments many recipes. Gives a great dimension to soups, and is lovely on meat by itself or mixed with BBQ sauce. Mix with mayo to give your sandwich a kick. So many possibilities…

I put this on everything I eat cept for mashed potatoes. Yes I put it on my salads, in my eggs, rub it on my chicken breasts afore i air fry them. Mix it in my breakfast sausage.

This is a great product. Great taste, lasts a long time, and by far our favorite. You just need to keep an eye on the pricing. It fluctuates a lot.

I go through this stuff pretty fast and it’s hard to find in local stores in larger sizes.Cholula pepper sauce is (imo) not truly “hot”, and not a spicy vinegar like so many other red pepper sauces. The chipotle peppers make it taste like a barbecue sauce, and it goes really well with Cobb or chef’s salads.
