It’s not just hot it has a good flavor

I normally reach for hot sauces that just burn and don’t provde an actual flavor experience, but this sauce is packed with a rich flavor that tingles your taste buds before punching your tongue with its heat. I mixed a small amount with BBQ as a marinade for ribs and it brought the flavor. Def recommend on its own or mixed with other things. It is super good and you get quite a bit for the price.

  3. melissa

My husband loves it… says it’s actually hot and he loves the flavor.

  4. Jay

This has been one of my favorites for years and it’s due to the flavor and its high heat index.

  5. mrmom

This is the best sauce I have ever found for normal daily eggs, nachos, tacos, etc…. It’s got kick, but isn’t adventurous in the heat dept. For the person who wants more than Tobascos and Cholulas, but isn’t a killer chili head. Garlic comes through, isn’t bitter. If it isn’t the perfect sauce, it’s standing right next to it.

I cannot sit here and give a bad review on the product itself as they make amazing and VERY HOT hot sauces for those who have never had it a drop on a chip will get you. I am very heartbroken though as both bottles were delivered smashed and there is no way to save it. When I went to request for a replacement that option is not available. Wrapping just in bubble wrap and then shipping in the standard thin plastic Amazon bag is not how these should be shipped. Again the sauce is amazing but absolutely sucks that I have to just throw everything away.

The label says it all. Pain never tasted so good Very well balanced with heat and garlic notes. This hot sauce will warm up your body so if you have a cold dump it in

First comes Louisiana, then comes Jamaica.I recently reviewed Pain is Good Louisiana Style hot sauce, having been led there by a favorite YouTube show of mine, First We Feast presents Hot Ones. (I know it sounds like a plug, but since that show has led me on my chili-path, I feel like I should give it tribute.) The Louisiana Style was labeled as “medium” heat, and I, being an inexperienced chili-head, was both intrigued and mildly terrified at the prospect that “medium” was an accurate description of the sauce that put my mouth on fire. Of course, after about a few weeks, I had finished the entire bottle and was ready the next challenge. I felt like Mario grabbing the flag at the end of the level!HEAT:Pain is Good Jamaican Style, without a doubt, packs more of a punch than Louisiana. While I was able to apply Louisiana HS like ketchup on my burger and pass it around to family members who like hot sauce, Jamaica HS is a different story. A couple days with this stuff, I can now use it like a proper condiment, but I make sure that interested others put a dab on their tongue first, swallow, and wait about 30 seconds for the heat to kick in. That way they know what they’re getting into. The flavor itself is complex and delicious, and completely different than Louisiana Style. Oddly, I find this sauce to be sweeter at first but then gets a bitter bite that lasts a few seconds before the heat creeps up. Perhaps it’s the pineapple juice as a second ingredient? Again, I’m pretty much a novice at reviewing hot sauces, but I’m finding that the milder hot sauces have a more consistent flavor, while the hotter ones have different flavors that come in waves, like the Willy Wonka 3-course meal gum that changes flavor and sensation the more you keep chewing it, except that with hot sauce you don’t turn into a blueberry, you simply blow up and leave an atomic mushroom cloud.RIP Gene Wilder

I just love this sauce. It has the perfect level of flavor and heat. I really like this on my chargrilled home burgers!

Be warned: the product description is incorrect. Reaper-Acha is NOT made with cayenne & habanero peppers. It is made with Carolina Reapers. Seriously, unless you really enjoy hot sauce, avoid this. This stuff makes Spontaneous Combustion look like child’s play. For as hot as it is, it has really excellent flavor. This is my second favorite hot sauce, now, second to Tabasco habanero (excellent flavor and hot enough to be respectable, making it morepractical for regular usage). To give you an idea: I can drink Tabasco Habanero straight out of the bottle, without complications. You do that with this sauce, you will be in great intestinal pain for about 20 minutes, then experience what it would be like to pass lava. I use this sauce MUCH more sparingly, than Tabasco Habanero. It is perfect for adding to hot wing sauces and chili. If you know that ‘one person”, who loves HOT sauces, this is an EXCELLENT gift idea.
