Just got this and tried it yesterday on a roasted, ranch flavored potatoes, carrots and chicken casserole dish and it was perfect. I like it because it adds a lot of flavor but not too much heat. The powdered version is always on supply at our house, both regular and lower sodium so we were excited to try the sauce and were not disappointed. If you like a lot of heat then this is probably not your sauce. If mild heat is you choice, try this sauce out.

Tajin Classic is a great, versatile sauce on fruits, chips, in drinks, beer and much, much more. After moving from Tucson, AZ where the liquid was a little bit easier to find (but still not common in groceries), to small-town OH (polvo form available at least) where it’s not to be seen, it’s wonderful to have access to a steady supply. The flavor mix and of course the texture is quite different from the Classic Seasoning in “powder”/polvo format but that opens up new opportunities imho. Great on mango, apples, chips (especially plain potato chips with some squeezed lime), and on and on. Love them both and the Chamoy as well. Bufalo (yes, one “f”) is another MX to try for something a bit different and for a Jamaican kick, Pickapeppa Spicy Mango can’t be beat. My LA fav is Panola Gourmet, similar in that it’s got a number of flavor layers and not very hot. Not sure if that’s available here. I get it direct since no longer in groceries starting abt 5 yrs ago.

I didn’t really like this. I bought thinking it would be like tajin but it didn’t have good flavor to me.

My husband loves this Tajin sauce on burritos. I love that the ingredients are simply water, chili peppers, dehydrated lime juice, sea salt and xanthan gum. What we like is that it doesn’t have that vinegar taste that typical hot sauces have. Unfortunately, it’s not available in grocery stores in this liquid form, and it’s getting more difficult to find online. The Tajin website doesn’t even have a link for purchasing this product. Not a very encouraging sign. We also use the granular version in guacamole, but on burritos and tacos, the sauce is our preference. So happy we were still able to find it on Amazon.
