I always look for hot and spicy jerky. Most brands say they are hot, but appear mild to me. These hit the mark. I learned about the Carolina Reaper the hard way. The first few pieces floored me. The rest was fine once I knew what to expect. Definitely have milk or a milkshake on hand while eating the Carolina Reaper one. I marked 4 on giftable instead of 5 because of the extreme heat factor. It was so hot the first time I ate it that even my teeth hurt. That was a whole new sensation for me.

This is an excellent combination of heat (Which is no joke) and taste. Most hot beef jerky that I’ve had tastes like it was pepper sprayed (No flavor… Just burn). This beef jerky has heat and a great taste…. Especially the mango habanero (Which is my favorite of the bunch).

These beef jerky are NOT watered down at all. The Mango Habanero is very good, it is lightly sweet, lightly citrusy yet enough heat but not overwhelming. I would recommend this flavor and I would buy it again.The Jalapeno is spicy, yes, spicier than the Mango Habanero.The Creeping Reaper is what the name says it is. It’s tender, some light sweetness to it and then the Reaper creeps up and the spice will linger in your mouth for awhile. You will feel it all the way into your stomach. This jerky is hotter than a lot of hot sauce that claims to be hot, that I’ve tried. I would recommend that you work your way up to this one. Although I am a bit disappointed, the last bag I ordered, it was much spicier. Every piece of jerky was covered in pepper flakes/seeds.

I purchased this jerky for my son for his Birthday! He LOVES spicy jerky. He tried the least hot to the extreme hot. By the time he finished chewing the last one, he was on fire!! LOL We were on FaceTime and I couldn’t help but laugh at his expressions! He said the heat lasted a long time. He absolutely loved it!Thanks…Y’all did good! 🙂

These were a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. It is always challenging finding something “hot ” enough lol but these took the cake !!!! He loves all 3 flavors he got and says he never thought he would find something that would meet his expectations. We will be ordering again !

The Mango Habanero was the best of the 3 for me. The volcanic jalapeno was also pretty good. But the reaper one was too hot. All 3 were very tasty though. Jerky was super tender too. Which made it some of the best I have ever had.

Can you say damn in Amazon reviews? Anyway, this jerky has amazing flavor. My oldest daughter talked me into trying the Carolina Reaper Jerky first. I had milk, bread and a case of beer on stand-by after watching a few of Catfish Cooley videos on the Reaper pepper, but, man, these guys really balanced the heat and the flavor. Don’t get me wrong. It was hot, but I only needed a few beers out of that case. The Creeping Ghost was the highlight, but the mango habanero and the volcanic jalapeno were crazy good as well. If you’re buying jerky from Amazon, get this one. I’m about to add another round to my cart, as a matter of fact.
