Edible insects I have been accustomed to, however this is an arachnid, somewhat furry/fuzzy, like a peach? Slight apprehensions aside, I truly enjoyed this new experience. The aroma was similar to dried mushrooms. Texture & taste of the 8 legs was similar to finely shredded fried potato. Whereas the body was somewhat different, due to 4 crunchy eyes, 2 mandibles, & spinnerets.Overall this snack is Nutrient Loaded.Highly recommended.

I ordered this for a you tuber segment and the people who ate it were disgusted and horrified that they had to eat the tarantula. If you are looking for a unique challenge item or prize, This is it!The tarantula was used with a spin the prize wheel and luckily (for us) one of the spins landed on the spider and chaos ensued.Great item for a great price. Comes in a resealable pouch if you are portioning it out.Go ahead… I dare you.
