no casing, just real cuts of meat. takes a minute to adjust to the texture if you’re used to the jerky sticks but this is tastier and much better for digestion.

The Tillamook Old Fashioned jerky has been my favorite beef jerky for the price and ingredients. My soy allergy seems have gotten worse since breastfeeding to the point where I’ll fall asleep if I eat it. This one has no soy and does not seem to affect me. Pretty sure other versions of this have soy. Quality is pretty good though each piece seems to have a rubbery portion. I dont mind it. I would say medium roughness. I would consider country archer low roughness and Old Trapper consistency just right (but it has nitrites 🙁 )

I didn’t expect this but it’s so good. Dried but juicy so there isn’t a crazy amount of chewing involved. Definitely that spicy kicks in after the sweet disappaites.

Having been a longtime fan of the Tillamook brand cheese and a more recent fan of the creamy ice cream, I tried this jerky and was not disappointed. All natural, fresh, and delicious. It was a bit on the expensive side, but so good I already ordered more.

I first found this brand of jerky at Academy Sports. I tried it and really liked it however it seems to be popular with a lot of folks besides myself. academy didn’t have it in stock when I returned. This didn’t surprise me given the hoarding that was going on during the first part of the coronavirus outbreak. I then ordered these smaller sized bags here on Amazon. The package was delivered on time and this order tastes as good as my original bag. BTW, academy has it back in stock and their larger bag is a good deal less expensive per ounce.Still, one cannot go wrong buying this on Amazon. Everyone stay safe out there and have a great day.
