Goes great on Mexican food. I use all the time on burritos and tacos that don’t have any spice. Good low heat (if you like spicy things). Was my first time trying Dave’s since I was younger. And its good.

This is my favorite Dave’s hot sauce, and I’ve tried quite a variety of them. The heat is definitely there, but it’s flavor is intended to be dripped in a line of beads across whatever you’re wanting to give some heat to, a single line is what I find does the trick for me. I can still taste the food, but it has a good solid zing and the distinct flavor of roasted habanero to enhance the flavor further. All those grocery store brands fall far shorter of heat/flavor compared to this.But if you’re looking for fire in a bottle that causes a little atomic mushroom cloud every time you drop a bead on your food, then you should look for hotter flavors. Dave’s website gives one a pretty good indicator of how much fire the bottle contains, and upon occasion I make use of the Ghostpepper sauce to my chili or hot pots, but for foods that I want to season with heat and roasted habanero flavor, this is my go to.

This is my personal favorite hot-sauce; great flavor, a nice kick and not so strong that it drowns out food. It’s a great balance between heat and flavor and just weak enough to where I can really dump a lot on my food without it being overpowering or too hot. Their other sauces are too much for me and I usually end up having stomach/bathroom problems later. This is one of the few sauces where I can really enjoy and not have to worry about eating too much and regretting later. My only complaint is I wish they had larger bottles, I tend to kill this stuff quickly, it’s just so delicious!My wife eats the Insanity and Ghost Pepper Sauce and those are too much for more. Ultimate Insanity is tasting hell in a bottle. (literally a TINY drop and you’re mouth will be on fire for 20 minutes) If you like hot, but still want to enjoy your food and not just taste the heat; this guy is a winner!

This hot sauce has a great habanero taste. It’s not so hot that it ruins to taste of the food. Dave’s Gourmet sauces are very high quality. You can taste a huge difference. This sauce was given a 2 out of 7 for heat, 7 being the hottest. For all the sauce exerts out there it is rated 35,000 on the Scoville scale. The standard Dave’s Insanity sauce has a Scoville of 180,000. Regular Tabasco sauce is 2,000 to 5000 on the Scoville scale.

Love the flavor, I ordered some different sauces, and this one doesn’t win the prize for the hottest, but when I have people over who like a more mild heat, this is a very popular choice. Won’t send anyone grabbing for a glass of milk for sure, but I love the flavor, just ordered 3 more bottles, this stuff goes fast.Great on eggs and dishes with cheese, mac, potatoes, etc.

I like this much more than any other of the Dave’s additional sauces. Daves Ultimate Insanity is the king but Habanero is a great back up!

I have used Dave’s Insanity sauces for many years but this was my first time with this product. It was mildly hot but tasted good. It’s a good sauce to use if you just want to dial down the usual heat on your tacos or whatever you use it for. You can use more of it without getting the big burn. Bottle arrived early and intact. Highly recommend!

I am a HUGE hot sauce person. I lather everything in it, I usually use Dave’s hurting habanero, but I think I destroyed my taste buds so much that it wasn’t spicy enough so I decided to go next level. Made eggs this morning, cracked open my new bottle of ghost pepper sauce which I have been strangely very much looking forward to, thoroughly doused my eggys in it. Took a bite and GOOD LAWD HAVE MERCY it is HOT!!!!! I’m sweating, snot running everywhere and panting like a dog in heat. I just put the core of the earth on my eggs and in my mouth. After the blood, sweat and tears dissipated the flavor was DELICIOUS. I’m telling you people, this is a ‘champion only’ hot sauce, not for rooks. ONE DROP AT A TIME, a half of a drop, a sniff is enough. This sounds like a bad review but it is not, I love this stuff, it’s DELICIOUS, one drop will satisfy satan himself. Enjoy with caution people. Dave knows how to make sauce, grew up on his stuff. Will continue to eat this until my face falls off. Thanks Dave, keep up the good work!
