U gotta like heat. Not too hot like ru.nning for water. But I’m a spicy lover. I put so much Sriracha in pho. Patrons ask why i put so much spice in my pho. This is less spicy than my pho. But good blend of flavors. The habanero is hot but has a sweet note. Love it..

This actually has a great taste and is not just trying to burn off your taste buds! Give it a try for your spicy food lovers

Between my teens and me, this bottle didn’t last long, because we really liked the flavor and spice!+ GREAT taste that hits your tastebuds first. It really is one of the best tasting sauces I’ve had.I don’t like Tabasco as much these days and I don’t like sauces where I taste a lot of vinegar. That is not the case here. I don’t really taste any vinegar even though it is an ingredient.+ HOT = the heat comes a second or two after the great taste. When I go to restaurants and order hot spiciness not medium, this is as hot or hotter. But this is not like some sauces where one drop and you feel like your in Hell.Start off easy and add more as you go for flavor while still being tolerable on the heat.+ Ingredients are good and no strange additives:Naga jolokia peppers, habanero peppers, water, tomatoes, salt, sugar, vinegar, garlic, roasted garlic, oninon, carrots, lime juice, xantham gum, passion fruit juice> I’m not sure if $10 for one bottle is a good deal or not. I’m looking on amazon and finding other hot sauces ranging between $4 to $15 per bottle, for similar size bottles. At least for us, at the rate this disappeared it will not be cost affordable to us to keep stocked up on this. Of course it’s always better when the price is lower for a quality item, but since it is really good (in our opinion), then we may find its worth it over time.OVERALL: Get it. You’ll love it if you like hot sauces with really good flavor.

Perfect mixture of flavor and heat. If they sold it by the gallon l would not have to buy a new bottle every week.

This is probably the best sauce for people who want much more heat than you can get from a random hot sauce in a store, but without having it blow your head off. If you’ve tried all the sauces that advertise themselves as hotter than hell at the local supermarket and found it’s still not enough, this is a clear step up. Hot, but flavorful and natural as well. The ingredients are simple and you can taste all of them. It has a slightly smoky, robust pepper flavor. And while it’s probably very hot for the average person and offers a pleasant kick for the chilihead, it’s just at the threshhold before the heat starts getting uncomfortable so your friends can enjoy it too.Lastly, Elijah’s does an amazing job of packaging their product. A couple times I’ve ordered hot sauce from other brands to have it ship out with a layer of bubble wrap or something taped to it which doesn’t protect it completely, and has led to issues like broken caps. This company ships it in a sleeve, which is then put in a box lined with packing peanuts that comes with a thank you note and a sticker. This is a very welcome and notable level of thoughtfulness.

Elijah’s is the best ghost pepper sauce I’ve tasted. It really brings the heat and builds nicely, but damn that flavor good! Excellent hot sauce! Just try it!

Hot sauce is a condiment, so how it enhances other foods is the standard by which its value should be measured. Elijah’s Xtreme Ghost Pepper Sauce recommends using it on hot wings, rice, chicken, pork, soup, and eggs.I tried it in soup (OK), in scrambled eggs (better) but when I added it to my cottage cheese salad I found the right union for the signature blend of peppers, lime juice and garlic. Here’s my recipe:Cottage Cheese Salad • 1 16-oz container of Umpqua Dairy small curd cottage cheese • 1 16 oz container of mini tomatoes (cherry, grape, pear, orange, sungold) • 4 green onions, chopped • 1 red or Walla Walla sweet onion, chopped • Cracked black pepper and Elijah’s Xtreme Ghost Pepper Sauce to tasteI put everything in a Rubbermaid Food Storage Container and let the salad settle for a couple hours. The salad tastes best served cold. The mini tomatoes and chopped onions provide a balance of textures with the small curd cottage cheese.Elijah’s Xtreme Ghost Pepper Sauce Ingredients: Naga jolokia peppers, habanero peppers, water, tomatoes, salt, sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, roasted garlic, onion powder, carrots, lime juice, xantham gum, passion fruit juice.I received Elijah’s Xtreme Ghost Pepper Sauce in exchange for my independent and unbiased feedback. Love the heat this sauce packs. Love the thickness and consistency from bottle to bottle. LOVE the fact that this Father/son duo fill the bottle all the way up to the top and give you a full bottle! So many other brands stop at the bottom of the neck of the bottle. That’s a full ounce you are getting gypped! Not Elijah’s Xtreme! You get your monies worth with every single bottle! Keep up the great work gents!

This review will be written in a somewhat odd format, using literary tropes. There are people who use hot sauce once in a while as a special seasoning that goes with things they like that seem most suited to accompany hot sauce. They aren’t really familiar with anything other than popular store brands and what they see at fast food establishments. They would be considered, “NPCs” in the context of hot sauces, which is not necessarily a bad thing, because they still on some level recognize that seasoning is important. This sauce is too much for them because it would be like dropping them off of a cliff. There is no shame in that. Throwing people off of cliffs is not nice. People not leaping off of cliffs is just a matter of being sensible. There are people who enjoy hot sauce enough to understand the way spiciness interacts with food in order to alter and enhance flavors creates new profiles that would otherwise be impossible. They’ve tasted enough hot sauces in order to pick a definite favorite, and have preferences that they can fall back on when they’re given a choice. They would be considered “side characters”, which are able to participate in hot sauce world, but have not specifically chosen to go any farther than that. This is where I’m at.The rating system on the bottle reflects this perspective. This is on the very border that I’m capable of handling. I can taste the flavors deeper in the sauce, but I have to focus on them in order to not get overwhelmed by the spiciness. I can’t use this like ketchup. This is my Yamcha threshold. The third category represents people who have written most of the reviews on this sauce on this website. The aficionados who go out of their way to find new hot sauces, taste them, and rate them. They’re “main characters” in hot sauce RPG. They have a set of sauces they collect and to them, those reviews are accurate. They’ll be able to enjoy those flavors without being distracted by survival. If you do not belong to this category or higher, *DO NOT APPLY THOSE REVIEWS TO YOUR OWN POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE*. This isn’t a sauce that’s “not as extreme as I thought it would be” if you are not a main character. This is not an “actually two out of five” and “pleasant flavor that isn’t blocked out by heat” if you are not a main character. Repeat. Unless you collect hot sauces because you’re not satisfied with regular ones and want a full personal set, these takes on this sauce do not apply to you. Go find a nice and tasty green chile sauce that rates 2 out of 5 cartoon peppers for casual use. Not 4. I don’t say this to be mean. I say this because I believe people should be able to enjoy their food. There are people who enjoy contests of willpower and adversity (or through some process of their lifestyle, have become numbed to heightened risks) and people who do not and just want their tacos to taste good. If you are not a main character, just enjoy your food. Be content with your life as do others. The fourth category, “Lead Protagonist/Lead Rival”, will probably not be satisfied by this sauce if it’s not trying to kill them. They were born in the sauce, forged by it, and prefer their homegrown hell. They only want worthy challengers. This has a nice flavor, but it will not kidnap their loved ones and hold them for ransom. It was not created for that. It might give them some feelings of nostalgia when they defeated their first childhood rival who had this sauce.Anyway, I enjoyed it and will finish this bottle.
