I’ve tried a lot of bags of chicharrones. Most are too hard, too greasy, too dry, or have way too much flavor powder on them. Some are so tough I worry about my teeth. So after much comparison I always come back to these microwave pork rinds. Price-wise they are a better deal than most pre puffed bags.I give the bag a few shakes to spread the hard rinds out evenly in the center of the bag. 2 minutes and 15 seconds in a 1000 watt microwave yields perfect rinds every time, 2 minutes 30 seconds works as well, but my microwave starts to toast them a little darker. Every single rind nugget puffs up nice and airy, never left with any un-puffed rinds. The seasoning flavor is pleasant, light and salty, not very spicy and not overly flavored or over salted. Biggest downside is they are hard to keep around for very long. Sooo good!

You really do need to stand and watch it. Make sure that you try and spread them out in the bag so they can all pop up. These things are so good, even my kids try to take them from me!I can’t wait to buy more and I think I’m going to hand them it in my Christmas bags at school to the teachers.
