10 reviews for Marie Sharp’s Belizean Heat Habanero Hot Sauce | 10 oz

Discovered this hot sauce on a vacation to Belize. The reason I don’t see the value for the money is that great because if you’re buying it in Belize it’s a lot cheaper a lot cheaper obviously. It’s still worth paying for though. The key to this hot sauce is that it has heat and flavor. Many of the really hot hot sauces just scorch your mouth and don’t have any flavor. If you really want to feel the burn; this company makes even hotter flavors. Another thing I really like about this sauce is that The spices complement different types of food; other hot sauces are sometimes so cumin laden that they overpower the flavor profile of other food types. Since I started eating this hot sauce most of the other hot sauces in my kitchen I just sitting there turning to vinegar.

Marie Sharp’s Belizean hot sauce is hot ! Not painful but quite a kick. It does not have a vinegar base witchI like, more red pepper flavor. The reviews made this sauce sound spectacular, that’s why i got it. To meit is just a very good sauce. Still recommended.

While traveling and living in Belize, I fell in love with this sauce. Habaneros are in every farmer’s market in Belize and in almost every vendor’s stall, but no other chile peppers except for the occasional Jalapeno or banana pepper. No Anaheims, Serranos, or Poblanos, but I digress.Marie Sharp’s sauces are on almost every restaurant table in Belize and is most often the only condiment available. That’s quite alright with me as this stuff is wonderful. I use it on “stew chicken, rice, and beans” (the defacto national dish), eggs, fish, and every dish that can be enhanced by this delicious essence.Marie Sharp’s makes a number of Habanero sauces, but I’ve only used the red (orange) ones, and haven’t tried the green. They’re all great, just with different levels of heat. The “Belizean Heat” is my favorite as it’s quite hot, but the heat doesn’t overpower the wonderful flavor of the chiles.I highly recommend all of Marie Sharp’s sauces.

Good flavor and a decent spicy kick. Nothing compared to the red hornet version which i prefer more as its much much more spicy and satisfying. Try them both!

I’m a huge pepper head, I go to multiple hot sauce conventions every year and I’ve tried well over 1,000 hot sauces in my career. Marie Sharps is one of the best brands out there, but specifically Belizean Heat is the best flavor hot sauce I’ve ever had that I can think of. I wish I could buy this stuff in bulk somehow. I would buy it buy the gallon if I could, because this stuff is so addictive I think it might make me go broke one day.

My favorite go to hot sauce now. Very good flavor, does have some heat to it.

Marie Sharpe Hot Sauces are the best. It packs flavor with heat and not just heat alone. The ingredients are also top notch. Starts with the peppers and doesn’t add food color or xantham gum to thicken it up. It’s thick on its own. Best ingredients, ton of flavor = best hot sauce. Can’t beat the price.

Imo this is the best hot sauce out there. Belizean Heat is a daily indulgence for me and one that I bring around my friends who are getting into spicy food.It has a high level of heat for most (non-spicy) people and the flavors are great. This savory carrot and habanero sauce is amazing with Mexican food, eggs, pizza, and pretty much everything actually. This is my favorite hot sauce.

It’s not the hottest sauce you’ll ever buy, but it definitely has a good amount of kick. If you’re the type of person that everywhere you go you eat only the spiciest foods, then this will probably be mild, but for the rest of us, it’s just fine. it has enough heat and good flavor – Highly Recommended
