Tasted this at a family members house who brought it back from vacation in Cozumel. I found it on Amazon and haven’t looked back. This hot sauce has a good habanero heat with great flavor. By far my favorite hot sauce!

“Belizean Heat” IS hot – it’s not for the faint of heart, but it has a depth of flavor, that I feel improves almost ANYthing that you would put hot sauce on. It has a base of carrots, vinegar, onion, and tomato puree, with a LOT of habanero peppers …. really the most interesting combination I’ve sampled. One of my favorite breakfasts, is a poached egg on top of a bowl of rice, with butter, salt, pepper, and several generous shots from Marie Sharp’s little bottle !!

I originally purchased this as a souvenir while visiting Belize. Finally tried it a couple of months after returning and loved it. I love spice. I’ve tried the typical habanero sauces(various brands) scotch bonnet sauces(various brand), truff hot sauce. This is by far the best. Yes all this other hot sauces are packed with heat but it lacks flavor. This hot sauce is not only spicy but it’s seasoned as well. It’s the only hot sauce I eat now.

My friend brought some of this back from a trip and gave it to me. I loved it so much, I started ordering it regularly here. Definitely test it before you dump it on your food. It is really hot, but also has great flavor. I use it on everything and said goodby to my Sriracha sauce. But seriously, it’s freakin’ hot!

I have used and enjoyed flavorful Marie Sharps habanera pepper hot sauce for years ever since I was introduced to it by my Belizean coworker. I did not order Comatose Heat, however which is a step too hot for me, and what was shipped in error. Amazon quickly issued a refund: their great customer service will keep me reordering through them!
