This Habenero sauce is made in the foothills of the Mayan Mountains in Belize.The flavor is delicious! It is not hot and spicy because the habenero is cooked with carrot, garlic, onion, and other ingredients. It is flavorful with a thicker creamier consistency than my local McIlhenny Tobasco Sauce.Marie Sharp’s sauce has a bright and natural flavor that adds flavor to most any dish. Try a dash or two on top of some homemade macaroni and cheese. Put a little on an omelette or scrambled eggs (or fried, poached or any other way)! This stuff is delicious.If you get a chance to get to Belize go and see Marie, she still works most everyday. What a wonderful and inspiring woman!!

Spicy, but not searing, so you can truly taste the exquisite flavor of the habanero pepper. This is NOT a “skull & crossbones” hot sauce – it’s perfect “straight” with your favorite foods as a condiment. I always pour a little on the side with my egg scrambles every morning.

I’m all about this hot sauce at the moment. It goes well on a wide variety of things, has the slightly sweet heat of habanero, and it’s nicely spicy without being too much (though that’s a subjective judgement of course)
