I’m addicted to hot sauce and red pepper flakes. I have some twenty plus varieties of hot sauce in my fridge but am always trying new ones. The Mule Sauce is definitely a winner and immediately became one of my favorites. It has a bright, sweet flavor with a nice kick of heat that won’t burn your mouth. It’s vinegar based, but the vinegar stays in the background instead of smacking you in the face like Tabasco or Franck’s (botb of which I don’t care for at all).I gravitate toward habanero-based sauces because I prefer fruity peppers. The yellow scotch bonnet and ghost peppers have a similarly sweet profile and really complement the habanero here. Ghost pepper sauces are usually a little too fiery for me, but the Mule sauce, while definitely spicy, isn’t overwhelmingly so.If you don’t like sweetness in your hot sauce, this isn’t the sauce for you, but it will appeal to anyone who enjoys citrusy flavor profiles.

My new favorite hot sauce. I’m buying it every other month. It’s sweet, but a good heat also. Not overpowering if you want a mild sauce you can put on anything. Super good on tacos and eggs.

I got to try this hot sauce as a bonus gift after ordering some stickers. It was so good that we went through the whole bottle in a day. So of course I had to order some. It has the perfect amount of heat and sweetness. Tastes great on everything. It leaves a lingering spicy sensation in your mouth after eating it, but nothing a pepper liver can’t handle. Do yourself a favor and order more than one!

This is one of the best hot sauces that I have ever eaten. Nice and sweet, with a good amount of heat. Great on pork , eggs, even pizza. My kids even told me tor try it on a brownie (as a challenge), so I did, and it was surprisingly good! If I had to rank it, I would rank it a solid #2 behind Hot Ones Los Calientes Verde, and just ahead of High River Rogue. An excellent sauce for sure.

Mule Sause is so good I reordered more! I read where it won #1 out of 400 hot sauces in a ‘taste-off’ contest Texas and had to try it. My reordering it tells the whole story .. it is that good.

This hot sauce is… Wow.I first tried it a few years back. I heard about some new hot sauce from a company that sells stickers, and that it was just $1 to get a bottle for a limited time. I shrugged, placed the order, and didn’t have that high of hopes. Oh boy were my expectations blown away.Lots of flavor, not too vinegary, just a tad sweet, it’s surprisingly complex. And it lists 3 very hot peppers as ingredients, including the infamous Ghost Pepper, but it isn’t too hot. It manages to use the Ghost Pepper to give a long-lasting “warmth” that enhances flavor, rather than just being super spicy.It’s also crazy versatile. If it’s something you might put hot sauce on, you can use this sauce. One thing that I found, though, is that it is absolutely the best sauce I’ve ever tried with pizza. I also enjoy mixing it with other sauces (such as fry sauce or BBQ sauces) to add a bit of kick and pepper flavor.There’s nothing to dislike here if you are looking for a hot sauce. I was very excited to find out that this is on Amazon now, so I can easily restock with more once I’ve burned through yet another bottle!
