Was a good flavor the chocolate was good too.

Tarzan says “Cheetah and I just LOVE the flavor of these banana chips! They are the BEST we have ever tasted and the best we could find on Amazon! Cheetah says “uh-uh-uh !!””

  3. Testiculus

These are lightweight, freeze-dried bananas covered in what tastes like a diluted dark chocolate shell. They smell good and taste good, just not a lot of product for the price and they disappear fast. Probably won’t bother with them again.

  4. Happy Amazon prime customer.

Was surprised at these banana delights . good quality , fresh. Get them on sale

I actually bought these to use to simmer in a small pot with cinnamon, cloves, dried orange peels, allspice and Anise pods to make my apartment smell wonderful. When I opened the bag, I tried them. Needless to say, they never made it into the pot. I ate the whole bag and had to order more!!

…because I ate them all in ONE sitting. Backstory -I’ve had T1D for 29 years, and I’ve been trying to find foods that are not “candy” -sugar, high fructose corn syrup, and other ingredients that cause me to break out- to treat my hypo’s. Just after receiving my booster shot I started going through a phase -could be for any reason- my body decided to make some unseen changes, so I’ve been adjusting/figuring out my bolus and basal. So, my bs was dropping WAY more often than normal, which means that my sugar intake increased. Now that that’s out of the way, these would be great for a quick(er than chocolate) way to get out of a hypo, but I couldn’t stop eating them because they’re DELICIOUS (no self-control apparently), which is no big deal, just had to calculate some bolus. If anybody is looking for more info on somewhat natural foods to help with hypo’s, I’ve tried apricots, mangos, honey -raw/unfiltered, and raisins with raisins and honey working best for me so far. Dried fruit can be tricky because most of them have a ton of added sugar, which would defeat my purpose.**EVERYBODY IS DIFFERRENT -most know this, but foods effect individuals differently. What works for me will not work for everyone.

It was great and fresh. Was one of my favorites freeze dried and this product was done perfect!!

  8. TerraNeu

Great For Making Snack Bars & In Cereal. I mostly keep them around for baking, making snacks and using in recipes, since they are a little bit expensive for having in cereal every day. I do love to have that option, when I do not have fresh fruit to eat in my cereal. Once I Open them, I try to use them quick, humidity can change them a little. I zip the bag, fold the top over to seal them, and keep them in an additional ziplock, if I am not going to use them right away. They are great to have on hand.

  9. Deborah Smith

Love their full rich and sweet flavor

I buy dried fruit because fresh fruit usually spoils before I can eat them. Yes, these are a little more sugar per serving than fresh mango but not so much more if you don’t have diabetes to contend with.I have bought some bad dried fruit that taste like cardboard. These are yummy, flavorful, and a little leathery so you can call them fruit jerky. They make your mouth work like it no doubt did in cave man days so it should get your jaw muscles more in shape and be good for your teeth (not the sugar part. Brush and floss as recommended by dentists.)Most are sweet, but if you like the little surprise of a tart kick every once in a while, you will have a few pieces that switch up the flavor profile. It’s good eats with no preservatives and very portable. Great way to get your fruit on. I think you can even use them in a smoothie with a good blender. Soften them in a little water or milk of your choice for a few mins and throw them in with other fruit (dry or fresh) and/or veg, some ice, and boom you should be good to go!
