    I would only recommend this hot sauce if you like very vinegar-based hot sauces. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d say the vinegariness of this sauce about an 8.5. The flavor itself is really nice. Strong smoked pepper flavor from the Puya and Chipotle meca pepers. It definitely tastes like a Mexican inspired hot sauce, and as a result isn’t as versatile as some hot sauces.The texture is nice and thick, which I like. It makes a little go a long way. Heat level is only around a 2.5/10, it’s very mild. I’m not a fan of added thickeners in my hot sauce like guar gum and xantham gum, but other than that the ingredients are good.Thoughts:If you like both Mexican inspired hot sauces AND vinegar-based hot sauces, you will probably really like this hot sauce. It’s a little too acidic for me to use daily, so I’ll probably save it for when I’m craving vinegar or when I’m eating Mexican food.

    The flavor of this hot sauce is unique and delicious! I personally feel that it has a smoked chipotle flavor, and a little goes a long way, so I expect it to last me a long time.So far, we’ve tried it on homemade crunchy wraps, and it really brought the whole meal together. I’d definitely go light on it, as it has a very powerful flavor, and I feel that it could overpower a dish if you use too much. I personally simultaneously love spicy food, but have a low heat tolerance, so this was a nice middle ground! It was nice and spicy, but not so hot that I had trouble eating my food.Overall, I would recommend this hot sauce if you’re looking for a nice, robust smoky flavor at a medium-heat.

    This Original Flavor Hoppin Hot Sauce is quite tasty and is made in the USA!I love having different hot sauces available for cooking and sauces and this one’s a keeper. Made with natural ingredients by a small business. Looks like this one has won a few awards to and it’s no surprise for such a good tasting sauce! Great balance of heat and taste and not overwhelming!If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, get this one today!

    For chipotle hot sauce lovers this should be at the top of your list! I’m eating more eggs for breakfast just so I can pour Hoppin Hot Sauce all over it. Perfect blend of chipotle flavor and spices, this won’t over power the food. This will be a staple hot sauce in our pantry forever. Get some!!

    * Original Flavor Hoppin Hot Sauce, 8oz *I’d rate this as a mild hot sauce which often I prefer with things like tacos or breakfast burritos.This one’s main ingredient is vinegar though which I found to be a bit too much for me. The flavor is nice and smoky just not my favorite.My husband and daughter both said this one is their favorite go to. I didn’t drop any starts because I think it’s just a preference. So if you like vinegar based hot sauce I’d say give this one a try!
