So, first off: I’m not one for insane hot/spicy stuff. HOWEVER! I am attempting some of the food challenges you see that go viral: Hot Ones Pringles, Carolina Reaper Cheetos, and now the newest addition: Jurassic Jerky.I ordered 3 of these, since only two other co-workers wanted to try it with me. One co-worker took a nibble and was like “Nope.” The other one ate it and said it was really good and just snacked on the rest of his bag straight up devouring it. He also warned it would probably kill me lol.I tried mine. Took a nice sized bite and felt the heat almost immediately. It didn’t get TOO terrible and was more or less tolerable. Sure, it was a bit hot but I powered through. First co-worker didn’t believe I ate a big enough piece so I finished off the one I had tore from. BIG. MISTAKE. Yeah, it was suuuuuuper hot. Now, I know I’m a lightweight at heat normally, but my tolerance has been kicking in somewhat past few years.Taste (here’s where the opinion lies): To me, it wasn’t very flavorful hot, but it felt like just hot for the sake of being hot. The few moments I could taste the beef itself, it didn’t taste bad. However, most of the time I could only taste like it had been soaked in regular hot sauce that just had tons of everything hot added to it. I’m sure there are people who actually LOVED this product (like co-worker), but it just wasn’t for me. Now if it were a flavorful hot, then perhaps I would have liked the taste better.Overall, if you’re interested in the challenge aspect, or you are just a hot-flavor fiend, then this product is absolutely worth giving a try!

a lot of spicy food forgoes flavor and instead goes straight to hurting your tummy. this started out sweet and then was a slow burn – i admit i was humbled after about 2 minutes and had to grab ice cream!!! the heat was over after about five minutes of ice cream binging, lol.Also it was a gift that i really enjoyed! would recommend giving to a friend who loves spicy!! 10/10

this is quite an experience. After the pain subsides you get the full spectrum of the flavors of the peppers and the extract as an aftertaste.

It’s barely hotter than the Carolina reaper jerky but you get more with the Carolina reaper jerky, so that’s the one you should stick with. I mean this one is delicious but I recommend the Carolina reaper jerky due to the amount you get in a bag of that one.

I love this jerky quite a lot ate almost the entire bag until I felt my tongue engulf in flames. mind you I was under the impression I was eating my sweet and spicy jerky from another company oh I found out in roughly ten to fifteen seconds is was not sweet but all heat. Several hours later I grasp the edges of my porcelain John holding on with every sweat drop hitting the cold floor after I finished all I wanted was to just stay seated and watch my water bill rise with every second I use my bidet

So I got this little bag of jerky a few days ago and decided that today was a good day to finally try it. I opened the bag and saw a few pieces of jerky covered in reaper dust. I’m used to eating hot stuff so I just started eating them, one at a time. The flavor was actually pretty good with a hint of sweet and lots of flavor from the Carolina reapers. I ate the whole bag and decided not to drink anything to see how I handled the heat. The heat was good and slowly built until my nose started running. I would compare it to eating one or two nuts from the “tube of terror” challenge, if anyone has tried that…Anyway, I was fine and the burn went away fairly quickly. My one big mistake that I didn’t consider is that I hadn’t eaten anything yet today so I ate this bag of jerky on an empty stomach. 10-15 minutes after I had finished the jerky and thought I was fine…then out of nowhere I had an extremely intense pain in my stomach/intestines. It was seriously some of the worst pain I have felt in my life. I was on the floor in the fetal position covered in sweat from the pain in my stomach. I tried to find the Tums in the cabinet but literally could not perform even that small task. All I could do is moan and squirm on the floor. I wasn’t sure if I was going to pass out from the pain but I felt light headed and my arms and hands started tingling. I had to crawl to another room and beg my spouse to get me the tums. She did and I ate about 6 of them and rolled around in pain for another minute or 2. I was able to make it out to the kitchen and find some crackers to eat. The pain finally went away after what felt like an eternity, but was probably only a few minutes. The pain came back one more time a few minutes later but didn’t last as long that time. That will be the last time I ever eat anything spicy on an empty stomach! Don’t make the same mistake that I did!

This was the spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten. It has good flavor with a slow build but once the heat was there it hurt.

Well this certainly lived up to its name. I got this for my boyfriend who is KING in his love of hot and spicy everything. From the moment he opened the bad I knew it was on point when he let out a deep growling “DAMNN” after taking a sniff. I have never and I mean NEVER seen this man reach for anything to help with the heat . He usually just shrugs it off and I get the “it’s not even hot ” face from him. But NOT this time. This time he needed rach and milk to soothe for a second. Of course I had to be a lab rat experiment for him and I tried the tiniest and I me the smallest sliver of a piece and I felt my soul leave my body through my nose and ears. I spent the next half hour questioning why I did that to myslef but the flavor is def on point and my man love it so I’m happy. I do wish it came in a slightly bigger package for the price but it definitely won’t take much. Ladies do NOT and I repeat do not let you man kiss you one the mouth after .. just trust me on this . I will definitely buy another round once my boyfriend makes it threw this one . Great find!

I’m not a fan of hot hot stuff so I bought this for my wife, she loves crazy hot stuff but I had to try it. It is really hot buy not enough it burns your mouth and you can’t taste the great flavor. Would buy again for sure !!
