When my favorite curry went up in price I decided to branch out. At 10 for $12 this one seemed like a pretty good deal and I loved that it was made in Japan and didn’t contain MSG or meat. It’s a little too sweet for my personal tastes and the medium hot is NOT spicy at all. All you can really taste is the cinnamon and cardamom. The curry is as thick as Thai peanut curry but it has the spice blend of a savory Indian dessert. I don’t hate it and it tastes like something you could get in Malaysia or Singapore. Very tasty and flavorful and not too high in calories but it doesn’t have the flavor profile I prefer.

Was looking to lower my lunch costs at work and found these little packets of joy. For not being made from scratch these are incredibly good, Affordable and the perfect quick meal.So good that now two other coworkers also stock up on their chosen packet and we all eat this at least once a day with fresh rice for lunch.Truly a game changer for my work lunches, HIGHLY recommend.

Great flavour! Easy to make and easy to mix meat in if that’s what you want. Goes great with rice. If it goes on sale, buy it!

I keep convenience packets on hand for quick meals, for emergencies, for variety. I like this curry with vegetables a lot. I have their mild and this spice. I buy both whenever they are on sale. I am not one for hot spicy, but this isnt hot. But it has good flavor. Japanese curry tends to have a hint of sweet, and this has that little bit of sweet that I expected.I like it at room temp direct from pouch, or warmed up and put over rice, or a potato, or chicken. Whatever. It is just good. 🙂

A tasty sauce that accompanies cauliflower rice, a slice of Molokai purple sweet potato, or any steamed vegetable nicely. This curry works well straight out of the bag as a dip for celery sticks and carrots.

You just need to heat the package in boiling water, and pour the sauce over rice. Easy lunch! I gave five starts, considering how much they cost.

S & B is well known for it’s flavor and quality. If you have some microwave rice, you can have a filling snack or the base of a hearty meal with the addition of some sort of protein. I love this stuff!

These are so convenient for a quick meal! I love having them on hand. They taste great and you can spruce it up if you want. I have served over some minute rice or I have made panko pork cutlets to accompany for a bigger meal. Glad to have found these!
