The media could not be loaded. A tropical vacation for my taste buds! I shouldn’t be surprised that a papaya based hot sauce tastes like a trip to the Caribbean, but somehow the strength of the flavor surprised me. Also, for a sauce marked mild, I was surprised that it had a bit of heat. Usually when something says mild I think it tastes like zero spice, but this one was mild by my standards, so if you’re not a pepper head you might be a little surprised. Tried it on my breakfast eggs and tried it on some steak for lunch and it was great both ways. Highly recommend this for a light, bright change of pace. This isn’t the generic stuff from Louisiana or Buffalo, it’s in a category all by itself.

I first tried it on chili dog. Instead of using chili powder, I added Flavor Pirate’s hot sauce while cooking the chili. This hot sauce is very subtle and you can taste a touch of sweetness in every bite. Unlike other hot sauces I’ve tried where you instantly feel the heat on your first bite, this hot sauce gives you that mellow-kind of spiciness that is pleasant and enjoyable—the spiciness doesn’t burn or sting. Though I would have preferred it spicier, since i love spicy food to the core 😂 (but then again, the label says its mild 🌶) the husband who has low tolerance for anything spicy, loved it. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it on chili dog and I think it will be great on chicken wings, pizza, fried fish, grilled meat etc. I can’t wait!!! 🤤

Great Flavor!This is my go-to hot sauce for many fun meals and snacks. The mango flavor gives the hot sauce a tremendous spicy & savory taste that goes with everything!Really enjoy using this sauce and love that it is a family-owned business!

This hot sauce is AMAZING! The flavor starts with a nice sweet bite and builds to a formidable heat (if you’re not too used to spicy)… I could eat this on anything. Had it on pork chops one night and plan on using it next time I make empanadas. Everything about this hot sauce is on point: flavor, sweetness, heat, price…. If you’re particular about your hot sauces, definitely give it a try; you won’t be sorry!

I’ve been looking for a long time for a hot sauce made with papaya (I am allergic to mango.) This is the BEST habanero sauce I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a quite a few.

This has the same taste almost as the one from Aruba. I know this because I am from Aruba. My mom stocks up on it!The only thing diffrent that I notice is the Arubian version I am used too is a bit thicker. I like it thicker. I put it on EVERYTHING!!It does not take away the flavor…..I sucked down a bottle in 3 days. At that rate I am going to need bigger bottles!I NEED bigger bottles!Yes, I love this hot sauce and I am going to keep buying it! It’s that good!Try It!

I’ve tasted a lot of hot sauces (for better or worse), and this one ranks very high in my book. Fruity sauces aren’t usually my go-to but the fruit flavors in this sauce are very subtle, and it’s well balanced. It was very mild for my tastebuds (I’m a bit of a spice girl) but it would provide an approachable amount of heat for most. I also love the consistency – it’s very smooth and super pourable. I added to some sad supermarket sushi and it greatly improved my meal!
