I first discovered this hot sauce on a trip to Monterey, California. While eating at Crepes of Brittany, this hot sauce was on the table and I decided to give it a try. Boy, I’m glad I did. This sauce has it all: flavor and a bit of a kick. Fortunately, I saw that it was offered via Amazon, so I ordered 2 bottles. They arrived packed very well in a plastic bag that was buried in bubble wrap. Both bottles arrived safe and sound.

I’ve been buying Pepper Plant Hot Sauce for years! It does have a kick to it but not so much it numbs your tongue. It also has flavor. Not just peppers and vinegar, or lets see how hot you can take it. I even put it on my eggs in the morning.

As others have said this is now my go-to hot sauce for morning eggs and I throw it in other things to kick ’em up a notch. Had it first at Aldo’s in Santa Cruz CA, but not sold out here in NY so found it online. Def higher price than in CA supermarket but worth it and one bottle lasts quite a while. I did try the half gallon jug as way cheaper but takes too long to go through it all so this 2 bottle set current choice.

Great one to have in your sauce rotation. Such a unique flavor, my friends either love it or hate it, so if you’re into trying new things you’ll probably like it. Warning though, it’s salty, so use sparingly if the food you’re putting it on is seasoned with salt, or use it sparingly as a marinade.

We love this sauce. We’re aficionados of hot sauce, trying many, many different kinds. This is the very best. Just spicy and hot enough to not cover the taste of the main meal.

Tabasco, Chulula, Taptico, step aside; there’s a much more flavorful option. I love this sauce. I found it first at a bar; the mixologist was using it in one of the best Bloody Mary’s I’ve ever had, so I got some for myself. Other sauces are one-note; this one is a complex medley of different peppers and spices, which provides a unique flavor that I’ve never had with standard hot sauces.
