I live in California near where this is made. Quality hot sauce. Garlicky. I do not like any of the other flavors though. Original is the best!

Discovered this sauce when we drove from La Costa, Ca to Portland, OR., we stopped overnight in Santa Rosa. Finding a local restaurant for breakfast, I asked for a hot sauce for my omelet, and was introduced to Pepper Plant. I love this sauce not to hot, but very flavorful, it takes eggs, spaghetti, pizza, tomato soup, spaghetti squash, and chili to another level. We buy a gallon so we can refill our 10oz. Pepper Plant container, saves reordering as often as we use it surprisingly often.

This is my go-to sauce. I use it to season ground beef instead of taco seasoning (healthier), on eggs and egg sandwiches, mixed with sour cream as a dip, as a marinade or on top of chicken breasts in a slow cooker…I use it all the time! Why else would I buy such a largeJug?! Everyone who I’ve had try it …loves it because it’s like no other hot sauce. The only somewhat negative comment I received from one person was they felt it was salty, but yet they said they liked it and wanted to get a bottle for themselves. It also keeps for a very long time in the fridge…literally up to a year! On the hotness scale – I’d say most hot sauce lovers would say it has a nice heat…not overpowering but definitely noticeable. If you’re not a fan of spicy – walk away. This sauce is for lovers of spicy food that can be consumed and enjoyed for it’s heat without running for a glass of milk!
