I mean, this is what I call extravagant and pretentious. The box it comes in… really?? It’s just hot sauce. But, very GOOD hot sauce. I just don’t understand why it needs to be in a box like this. It’s like a gift box. Definitely giftable the way it is.

I’ve tried a lot of hot sauce over the years, and this by far has the best flavor profile I’ve ever tasted. There is so much flavor it’s unbelievable. I love spicy foods and the “hotter” version is a little too hot for me, I prefer the original recipe. But I’m definitely keeping Truff stocked in my kitchen, I currently have around 15 different bottles of hot sauce but this is one I’ll be using. I’ve let a couple friends try it, and unanimously people love it. I love seeing the look on their faces when they try it for the first time, they give you this “what??” look that says “how is this so good?” It’s priceless. Definitely want to try the spicy mayo, salt and oil. Well done Truff, you have created something truly special.

My son and I were talking a couple of weeks ago about a hot sauce that he had tried and really liked – of course, he didn’t remember the name, but he did say “You know, pops, I think I might want to become a hot sauce guy.”What a grand idea, and I decided to get us a few different ones to try.Being from Cleveland, I am a fan of Stipe Miocic. I think he is a spokesman for the stuff – at least, my son and I convinced ourselves during the duration of our conversation, that he was. And quite frankly, even if Stipe wasn’t involved, this Truffle Infused Hot Sauce seemed like something that two beer chuggers from Ohio should try, because we are so “sophisticated and cultured” and the like and want to become “Hot Sauce Guys”.Now, I am not interested in heat for the sake of heat. I don’t mind the heat being there, because it augments the flavor and gives me a little bit of something. But I don’t want to hallucinate while eating wings or a burger or pizza or whatever…if I can still see straight, there’s nothing wrong with a little bite back, in my book.Three versions of Truff in the multi-pack. Black Label is the base chili with black truffle. Red Label is the base chili with black truffle with habanero added, to kick the heat up. The White Label is a base chili with White Truffle.This Truff stuff is unbelievably good. We started with the Black Label. Upon opening, you definitely can smell the umami of the truffle. It is not off-putting, but it is different than just a chili or vinegar smell. Umami is earthy, and that is a good description.It is a bigger bottle, with a nice open end for easy pouring. It is thicker, with some definite body to it. It pours out a beautiful red, and the flavor is outstanding. A perfect heat to be an everyday sauce, a perfect mix of chili, umami, sweet. Wow, this stuff is good. The Red Label is a bit hotter, but the same flavor profile, just a little extra “stay around time” on your tongue. Outstanding.The White Label is a bit more orange in color, as if the white truffle were affecting the mix…it is a bit more subtle in the umami, and bit different flavor profile. This is really good stuff, and again it has the right mix of heat and flavor to make it great on steak, mushrooms, or salami and cheese…Truff are three of the best sauces I have tried. They are definitely different, but that is sort of the point. These sauces deliver flavor with the heat. It is not “make me sweat and curl my toes” heat…it is that nice hot pepper heat that says “hello…ok goodbye” and has an awesome flavor.Now, the hard part – the price is, well, a bit pricey. The Black and Red label are about $18 a bottle each, and the White Label is about $36 a bottle. This three pack was packaged in a fancy box, the sauces were nestled into a little display cutout, and the bottles have a fancy cap on them. All for $70…for hot sauce…that is a pretty gamble to try something and not know what you are getting. But, I have spent more money on a lot of dumber sh!t in my life, so I rolled the bones – this stuff is awesome, we definitely enjoyed it.Start with just a bottle of the Black or Red label – for $18, what the heck, right?This stuff will make for a great gift, too…it is a little bit of fancy that a lot of people will not even think of trying if it were not for being a gift. That makes it cool…well, hot…well, neat-o.

Disclaimer: I am a hot sauce snob 100%I saw this in the grocery store and was really turned off by the price but I decided to indulge.I am very happy I tried this and set up an auto order for it.It starts a little sweet but quickly transitions to a truffle flavor then poof! Just the right amount of heat. My favorite application for this is a homemade burger with a touch of mayo, heaping mixed greens then smothered in Truff.I wish I had more friends that like hot sauce because this is a great Christmas present. This is so far superior to some hot sauce gift set one would find in the store. Get this for a loved one who likes hot sauce!

This is great for those who like the flavor of truffles. I found out that I don’t but I’m not going to review bomb for my personal taste. The flavor is pretty potent and the sauce is otherwise flavorful with the other ingredients. If you like truffle flavor, you’ll probably love this.

I was skeptical when I first saw this and wanted to try but I have tons of hot sauces I use regularly already and wasn’t sold that this should be added to my flavorful collection. When I saw they were doing a collab with Taco Bell I gave it a try. I was immediately addicted. It’s so good. The only thing I wanted was more heat. I got a set with the normal and hotter version – just in case they over smoked the flavor which happens from time to time. But not the case! I still wish the hotter hot was even hotter but it’s still great for eggs, I use it every day now.

TRUFF hot sauce will put you in a new hot sauce bracket and you’ll be back for more. I’ve tried there white hot (white top) and there hotter (red top) and always come back to the original. Great flavor and just the right level of heat.

This sauce is amazing. It’s perfect for nachos, chicken, and even spaghetti! The heat is pleasant and the flavor is strong. So start with a small amount and go from there. A little goes a long way. It’s worth the cost. It’s my new favorite hot sauce. I also recommend any of their other sauces as well.

I don’t know a truffle from a hole in the wall. Pretty sure I never had one in any dish. So I couldn’t tell you if it taste truffle or not. But i will definitely tell you this is the best hot sauce I’ve had in years. The flavor is so good, the heat is on point. I cannot stop putting it on everything. I go to the store now looking for stuff to make that will go with this sauce. This stuff is delicious. Really really good. My poor shelf of flavor filled hot sauces is getting neglected cause Truff is the absolute best I ever had. If that is truffle call me a fan.
