These hot sauces very high quality and once you taste any one of them you will understand. The complexity of the flavors of these hot sauces are way too much for me to put into words. Well, except for the word “tasty’. The least hot of the bunch is the “Ghost Pepper Sauce” and it is the one I enjoy the most (directly on my eggs or pasta), it has a good amount of heat for the average person who enjoys hot foods, it will be too much for some, so be warned. The second is named “Regret” and it lives up to its name only if you make the mistake of underestimating it, if you treat it with the proper respect and utilize it intelligently you will be in for a pleasant surprise. The same goes for “Extreme Regret” except you need to be quite a bit more careful in how you consume it. I would recommend the least hot one for direct addition to your foods and the last two for additives to soups, chilis, or stews.

I love Elijah’s hot sauces because they are never shy about being spicy hot, and this collection gives you their hottest sauces. These aren’t the kind of sauces you want to taste directly from a spoon but rather on a piece of bread or directly into the dish you are making. Their complexity of flavor comes out best when added to food — and it does change the taste other than just adding heat. Obviously, until you get used to both the heat level and your personal ability to take it, you should add a little, sample, and then decide whether you want to add more.These hot sauces are delicious when added to homemade chili and barbecue sauce, but they are great for any use where you want more heat. I chose this hot sauce set originally as a gift, but couldn’t wait to open them up and give them a taste test. Overall, the quality of these hot sauces is excellent. They are thicker than the cheaper options you find on grocery shelves. The thick sauce really coats your mouth better and really makes the burn linger. My favorite is the ghost pepper as it reminds me of what a gochujang sauce should be, intense. If you are a hot sauce collector, I would highly recommend this set.

Great set of hot sauces. These are pretty hot! They don’t have a ton of flavor, probably because it’s mostly heat, but they’re still good and can be used on almost anything.

This is a nice set of hot sauces that are really, really spicy. Xtreme Trio 2.0 Hottest Hot Sauce Variety Set from Elijah’s comes with three different 5 oz bottles, and in something that I rarely say, That is really more than you need before these will go bad. You get Elijah’s Xtreme Hot Sauce, Elijah’s Xtreme Regret Hot Sauce, and Elijah’s Xtreme Regret Reserve Hot Sauce (20% Hotter than original Xtreme Regret!). These have fairly extensive expiration dates. the box is marked with the shortest of these dates if they do not match. The spice levels on these are such that for the average person, they are probably excessively spicy. even for someone like myself who is a huge fan of extremely spicy foods, a little goes a long way.There are some important things to note. 1. Always keep away from your eyes and wash your hands after handling. 2. The product is a hot sauce made with ghost peppers, one of the world’s hottest pepper, and is very hot. Do not get in the eyes, I know I said they don’t get it in the eyes part but anyone who has done it with a much more mild pepper doesn’t want to try it with any of the peppers that they use. We are talking you will want to call an ambulance if you do. You might even want to use gloves when handling the open bottles. Now that we have that out of the way. I have rubbed my nose with less and had severe regrets.They are right when they say for any of these three “Try just a little at first, then add as much as you want to really spice up your dish! Great on hot wings, rice, chicken, pork, soup, eggs, just about everything!” I personally try tried these on chicken with a very mild sauce and then mixed them in with a toothpick. I had to drink a ton of liquids, and eat a ton of bread. I was fairly sure my sinuses are cleaner than they have been in a long time. Never have I had such fun suffering so much. But if you enjoy a lot of really spicy food, or have someone that does in your life. This is something to try. I couldn’t get my husband to try it. They each do have a distinctive flavor. I think the Extreme Regret Reserve is my favorite out of all three. However, I think they have their advantages depending on what you plan on using them for. I won’t be using them by themselves, they will, for the sake of my stomach lining, need to be mixed with things. But they will be a great secret ingredient for chili.

These are great hot sauces but are super, super hot. You can put a drop–a small drop–,in a bowl of soup, and it will make the whole soup bowl pretty hot. I tried some in some vichyssoise that I made recently–and that was probably not the right thing to do. It made the vichyssoise really spicy. But it was interesting.All things considered, I’d say these are about as good as hot sauces get, if you can stand the heat.

It’s made with some of the finest ingredients and is the perfect balance of spices and flavors. If you like spicy food you’ll love this trio set. Last year I purchased a bottle of Elijah’s Extreme Regret and I loved it. So, I was very intrigued by the other two varieties. Tonight I had all three varieties on some chicken wings. Here are my findings:ELIJAH’S EXTREME REGRETSo this is my tried and true variety. It has full bodied flavor and it is indeed hot. I knew what to expect before I tried this product and, as usual, I was not disappointed. I really dislike sauces that are hot for hot’s sake. This sauce has plenty of fire, but it also has plenty of flavor.ELIJAH’S XThis one is made from ghost peppers and it is, to me, the mildest of all three. It’s got plenty of vinegar in the mix and that gives the sauce some bold flavors. For me, this one is mild enough to to slather all over my wings without much heat overload. It reminds me a little of a Buffalo sauce, only a bit hotter.ELIJAH’S EXTREME REGRET RESERVEOK… this one is hot. This one is very hot. I put a pretty generous amount on a wing, and I did regret my choice. Usually, I am the guy who can eat the hottest of hot with wild abandon. I have a healthy respect for this product. Best in small doses, it is wildly flavorful and wildly hot.PERFECT GIFT FOR THE PERSON IN YOUR LIFE WHO LOVES HOT FOODDo you know someone whose mouth is lined with asbestos? Taste is ridiculously subjective and I’m not much of a connoisseur. I previously had a drop of Reaper Squeezin every breakfast, for some perspective.The one labeled with the big X and no skull is the most flavorful to me. Also the least heat, it went great with a burrito.The one labeled Extreme Regret was my favorite. Of the 3, held middle heat levels and great flavor. It went perfect with some pan fried flat noodles.The last one labeled Regret Reserve had the most heat. I put 4 drops over a mojado/wet burrito and spread it. The intense heat somewhat disturbed the other flavors of the salsa and was a bit unpleasant. Maybe meant for another type of food. Perhaps a drop in a taco? Maybe a noodle. Hmmm.
